Heartbreaking Statistic: Blacks Less Than 1% Of Visitors To Yosemite National Park

As I was reading New York Times', Energy & Environment section online, I came across an article that made my heart ache. The title, Park Ranger Asks: Where Are The Black Visitors? Is It Just Me...

Are taxi drivers (particularly the independent operators with run
down yellow vehicles) servicing the White Plains Train Station
rude and inconsiderate, or is it just me?

NYC may need these orange-yellow monstrosities. But I
personally think that here in Westchester, they are an
unnecessary blight. Especially when practically stacked
on top of one another at the station, waiting to curse any
rider who dares request single occupancy transport.
